QL Discos was established in 1990 by myself, 'Chris Rowe' and a school friend, initially as a hobby. In the early days, like so many young aspiring DJ's, with no experience or training available, we honed our skills by trial and error and advice from more seasoned DJ's. After a couple of years my school friend emigrated, leaving me to perfect my talents, build a reputation and turn my hobby into the full time occupation and the success QL Discos is today. These days with the help of my wife, 'Jo', we operate a professional set up to very high standards, providing a friendly, dedicated service, taking great pride in supplying our clients with the party atmosphere they desire.
We have supplied entertainment at litrally thousands of parties across Lincolnshire & the East Midlands during the last 20 years. We continue to offer our specialist services and extensive music collections at all kinds of events with our very own in-house team of experienced DJ's so we can offer the best DJ to suit your party or requirements.
The company is fully insured for Public Liability and all equipment is regularly serviced and PAT (Portable Appliance Test) certified for safety. All of our DJs involved in children's entertainments are CRB (Criminal Record Bureau) disclosure checked. We also manage our team to have a full backup service, with spare equipment incase of breakdown and a DJ is always in reserve in the event of illness.
We provide an all round service to our clients with Booking Forms, for your peace of mind, to confirm your party details in writing. The Music Request Form is a particular favourite with many clients as this allows you to let us know of any specific music requests in advance avoiding disappointment on the night with more obscure tunes.
